John Grooters is an award-winning writer, producer, director, and musician who has won more than 35 national awards for film and video production excellence. He wrote and directed the feature film The Frontier Boys, which was named Best Picture of 2011 by the ICVM, and Best Picture of the Year With Limited Release by the Dove Foundation. As a director and producer, his original work has appeared on PBS, The Hallmark channel, WGN America, TLN, TBN, ESPN, and more. He is a writer of documentaries, video curricula, and corporate and press events, and is a voice talent for commercials, documentaries, and audio books. He has produced and directed live events in venues such as Van Andel Arena, Welsh Auditorium (Grand Rapids, Michigan), Rutgers University, Central College (Pella, Iowa), the Crystal Cathedral (Orange County, California), Marble Collegiate Church (New York City), Northwestern College, Hope College, and many more. Today, he is President of Grooters Productions in Holland, Michigan.
