Experienced in integrated marketing communication, advertising, public relations, branding, media relations, sales, development, negotiating, copy writing, blogging, promotions, fundraising, special events, community relations, entertainment booking, musical performance and higher education teaching. Robin is knowledgeable in radio, television, print, advertising agency work, social media, non-profits and university level teaching and advising.
Communication courses Robin teaches include: Advertising Copywriting, Fundamentals of Advertising, Research Basics for Advertising and Public Relations, Writing Corporate Communications, Critical Interpretation, Nonverbal Communication, Story Making, Interpersonal Communication, Public Speaking and Concepts of Communication. She serves as Faculty Advisor to GVSU’s Student Ad Club and Faculty Advisor to GVSU’s National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC), sanctioned by the American Advertising Federation.
As Student Initiatives Director for Ad Fed West Michigan, Robin seeks opportunities for students to engage with professionals in the advertising industry.
